About Us
Our WI is about fun, friendship and community.
It's about women supporting women - and we do that through exploring a wonderful and varied programme of events!

Our monthly meetings are a time to talk; to come together and explore ideas and issues that matter to us all. To challenge ourselves to improve our own well being, but also our local community and environment around us.

No two meetings are ever the same - from fitness classes, craft workshops, meals out and theatre trips, you will find something for everyone on our programme. And if you're looking for even more, why not check out our activity groups?

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
What is the Women's Institute?
The WI has been giving a voice to women across the country since 1915. Today, it is the largest women’s organisation in the UK and is a trusted place for women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.
Our rural group is a local chapter of the WI, and we share their passion for campaigning on issues that affect all women, and continuing to find opportunities to learn and grow.

Each year we join with thousands of women across England and Wales to choose our annual resolution - the theme for our campaigns through the year. Covering issues from personal health and well being, climate change and tackling poverty. Share your voice and come and join our community of like-minded women - from all walks of life!
