A quiet start

Snow kept us from our January meeting. This evening of Cheese and Games was postponed to February. There was still a chance, for those who could, to catch up with another meeting at The George in Eccleshall for a coffee, as an alternative to Lunch Club. We are becoming regulars! Book Club gave a further opportunity to meet and we had a good chat about what we had been reading - the general opinion on the book was the plot, whilst it was interesting and humerous in places, was too long and convuluted. Some of us were keen to read the first book the author had written as he had written many books with the same main character. We are now reading 'A Good Man in Africa' by William Boyd.

It will be lovely for us all to meet up for our first meeting of the year - albeit being February!
