What a fabulous month. We had a fascinating talk from 'From Little Acorns'. We learned a lot about managing a woodland using traditional methods - the speaker shared the benefits of the woodland to both wildlife and to people’s personal well-being. He was very engaging with anecdotes, video clips, a plant quiz and items he had made. The hand-made wooden chair was amazingly comfortable – no matter who sat on it! What a busy few months! In February, we had our lovely ‘Games Night with Cheese and Wine’. Val ran what has become our annual game, ‘Win and Steal a Present’ which resulted in much banter and laughter. Thank you, Val. Snow kept us from our January meeting. This evening of Cheese and Games was postponed to February.
