Happy New Year!

At our December meeting we made tiny shoes for the Christmas Tree Festival. We really were like the elves in the Elves and the Shoemaker - making the shoes in 1.5 hours! Everyone had a go. The variety showed just how creative our group are. Some of us used stitches we had not used since primary school! It was lovely to see everyone chatting - helped by tea. mulled wine, sausage rolls and cake. The finished shoes looked wonderful on our Christmas Tree Festival tree. Instead of our regular lunch/dinner get together, the few that could make it met for coffee and cake at The George in Eccleshall, where we were made very welcome.

A very big thank you to our wonderful committee and to every single member of our lovely WI as we have all contributed to making 2025 a truly brilliant year. Looking forward to 2026 - starting with our Games and Cheese and Wine Evening - postponed until February - due to the current weather. Keep cosy ladies!
