The Angela Rippon inspired Let’s Dance had enthusiastic members of our community – from young to older - learning a dance routine. Thank you to Miss Maisie and Badge from Dragonflies Dance and Performing Arts School for leading the session. We now know a routine to ‘Don’t Blame the Boogie’ by Michael Jackson - and there’s a video to prove it!
There was a bit of a mixed reaction to our Book Club book ‘The Sealwoman’s Gift’ by Sally Magnusson. It’s a lighter read for our next book ‘My Not so Perfect Life’ by Sophie Kinsella.
Val and Sally have made a great come-back with a gentle local walk, taking in one of our members lovely gardens and walking up Sandy Lane and on to the Fitzherbert. Arms. We had a lovely lunch before walking back.
Our February meeting gave us a fascinating insight to Hearing Dogs. In March we looked at our super 2025-2026 programme, as well as putting together what we, as members, want for our 2026-2027 programme!!
Looking forward to Every Second Counts – planning for a medical emergency and our next lunch club at the Tickled Trout at Loynton. Meanwhile our weekly Chair Yoga keeps us flexible and Craft club continues to keep our crafters nimble fingered!
